SUMMARY:Ireland's EU Presidency - Cultúr 2026: Sharing Ireland's Culture
DESCRIPTION:From 1 July to 31 December 2026\, Ireland holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and is marking the occasion with one of the most ambitious Irish cultural programmes in history. \nCultúr 2026: Sharing Ireland’s Culture brings more than 400 artistic projects to Ireland and all 27 EU member states\, supported by a €6.5 million government investment. The programme spans every artform – music\, theatre\, visual art\, literature\, film\, dance and the Irish language – with events being announced on a rolling basis throughout the Presidency. \nDenmark is a particular focus: as part of the Presidency’s community partnership programme\, Ireland’s Embassy network is delivering cultural events across Europe\, and Irish cultural events will be coming to Denmark for the duration of the Presidency. \nKeep an eye on http://irelandculture2026.eu and the Irish Embassy in Copenhagen for events and watch this page\, as ICAD will be listing confirmed Danish events as they are announced.

DESCRIPTION:Irsk Jam\n\nSøndag den 2. august i Spisehuset Gaarden i Hvidovre. \nSpisehuset Gaarden ligger i forbindelse med Kulturhus Risbjerggaard og teater Vestvolden\, og har adresse på Hvidovrevej 241\, 2650 Hvidovre.Der er masser parkeringsmulighed\, både på venstre side af Rissbjerggaard og overfor på Hvidovre Rådhus’ kæmpe parkeringsplads. \nKom og vær med søndag den 2. august\, kl. 14.Gaarden åbner kl. 13. \nAlle er velkomne og nyheden må meget gerne spredes 🙂 \n \nMessage from arranger:\n\nFor quite some time\, I’ve been working to bring Irish jam sessions to the western suburbs and it has finally happened! \nOn Sunday\, August 2\, we’ll be meeting for the second time at Spisehuset Gaarden. \nSpisehuset Gaarden is located in connection with Kulturhus Risbjerggaard and Teater Vestvolden\, at Hvidovrevej 241\, 2650 Hvidovre. \nThere is plenty of parking available – both on the left-hand side of Risbjerggaard and across the road at Hvidovre Rådhus\, which has a large parking area. \nSo come and join us on Sunday\, August 2  2:00 PM.Gaarden opens at 1:00 PM. \nEveryone is welcome\, and please feel free to spread the word so we can give this a great start!
