SUMMARY:Ireland's EU Presidency - Cultúr 2026: Sharing Ireland's Culture
DESCRIPTION:From 1 July to 31 December 2026\, Ireland holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and is marking the occasion with one of the most ambitious Irish cultural programmes in history. \nCultúr 2026: Sharing Ireland’s Culture brings more than 400 artistic projects to Ireland and all 27 EU member states\, supported by a €6.5 million government investment. The programme spans every artform – music\, theatre\, visual art\, literature\, film\, dance and the Irish language – with events being announced on a rolling basis throughout the Presidency. \nDenmark is a particular focus: as part of the Presidency’s community partnership programme\, Ireland’s Embassy network is delivering cultural events across Europe\, and Irish cultural events will be coming to Denmark for the duration of the Presidency. \nKeep an eye on http://irelandculture2026.eu and the Irish Embassy in Copenhagen for events and watch this page\, as ICAD will be listing confirmed Danish events as they are announced.

Med deres energiske blanding af punk\, folk og irsk-amerikansk sjæl skaber de musik\, der er født til at blive råbt\, sunget og fejret – på barer\, i arenaer og i sportens mest intense øjeblikke. \nBandets stærke katalog tæller blandt andet fire Billboard Top 10-albums: Turn Up That Dial\, 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory\, Signed and Sealed in Blood og Going Out In Style. Deres guldcertificerede album The Warrior’s Code indeholder desuden den dobbelte platin-klassiker I’m Shipping Up To Boston. \nUanset om man opdagede dem via et legendarisk klubshow\, ved at snuppe “Do Or Die” i ’98\, i Scorseses The Departed eller på en festivalplads\, er man blevet en del af det globale fællesskab\, bandet samler omkring sig.
