Our Purpose:

Celebrating Irish Culture and Building Community

The Irish Culture Association Denmark (ICAD) was founded in January 2025 with the goal of creating a welcoming platform to celebrate Irish heritage and strengthen connections among the Irish, Danish, and international communities. Our establishment was born from a shared passion for bringing Irish culture to life in Denmark.

ICAD is an apolitical, areligious, and inclusive cultural association dedicated to celebrating Irish heritage and strengthening connections between Irish, Danish and international communities in Denmark. We welcome people from all backgrounds and beliefs who share an interest in culture, community, creativity, conversation and meaningful social connection.

At ICAD, our mission is to promote Irish traditions, facilitate cultural exchange, and foster community building through engaging and inclusive events. From the lively St. Patrick’s Day Parade to enriching workshops and social gatherings, we are committed to offering meaningful opportunities for everyone to experience and connect with Irish culture.

We believe in the power of community and the importance of creating lasting connections. Our vision is to bring people together, celebrate shared traditions, and contribute to a vibrant cultural future. Whether through membership, volunteering, or participation in our events, we warmly invite all to join us in shaping a vibrant cultural future for locals and expats from all parts of the world.
